在宅勤務日。勝手に師と仰いでいる方がインドカレー巡りをしていたのを思い出し、近場のインドカレー店を調べてみた。食べログ様で調べてみると、葛飾区にはさほど高評価の店がなく、お隣江戸川区（葛西・西葛西エリア）には評価の高い店が多いという事実。調べてみたところ、西葛西はリトルインディアと呼ばれているようで、日本一インド人が多く住んでいるエリアとのことだ。いやはや、勉強になったぞと（笑）しかし、１時間のランチタイムでは西葛西往復は厳しい。左隣の足立区で検索したところ、この店がトップだった。

  • マトンカレー（950円）

複雑にスパイシーかつ刺激的な辛さに、マトンの風味が香る。サラッとしているが、コクと旨味もしっかり。これは病みつきになる超絶美味いカレーだ。

パンはナンではなく、牛乳を生地に練りこんで作られたもの。甘味があってうまいけど、このカレーに合うかどうかといえば？がつく。できるならば、サフランでもなく、バスマティライスで食べたいカレーだぞと。

師がハマるのも分かる！インドカレーの世界も、なかなかいいですねぇ～。
